The region of Ferrolterra is made up by several town councils: Ferrol, Narón, Neda, Fene, Ares, Mugardos (these are looking to the creek), Valdoviño, As Somozas, San Sadurniño, Moeche and Cedeira. All of then collect a population over 200.000 people, forming the theird metropolitan Galician area.

Ferrolterra whith the regions of Eume and Ortegal constituve a very attractive touristic destination where you can find spectacular sea and mountain landscapes, enormous wild beaches, the best conserved Atlantic forest of Europe or the highest cliffs in Europe.
